Virtual Tech Enhances Takuya Kimura’s First Solo Concerts in Taipei

Japanese entertainment legend Takuya Kimura is set to embark on a significant milestone in his career with the announcement of his “Takuya Kimura Live Tour 2026 Checkpoint.” This tour marks a notable moment as it will include Kimura’s first-ever solo performances outside of Japan, with concerts scheduled in Taipei on November 13 and 14 at the Taipei Music Center.

Kimura’s tour will span nine shows across five cities, beginning on September 9 and concluding on November 23. The cities include Hyogo, Fukuoka, and Chiba in Japan, as well as international venues in Seoul and Taipei. The Taipei concerts hold particular significance, not only as Kimura’s debut overseas solo shows but also coinciding with his 54th birthday on November 13.

In tandem with the tour, Kimura has announced the release of a new original album titled “Checkpoint” set for this summer. This album is a pivotal addition to his music career, representing a fresh chapter and marking a significant point as he advances in his artistic journey. The project aims to deepen the bond between Kimura and his audience, offering new material that aligns with his evolving sound and vision.
