In a significant move to enhance international collaboration on artificial intelligence, twenty-nine countries have come together in Shanghai to establish the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization (WAICO). This new independent intergovernmental body aims to play a pivotal role in global AI governance and cooperation.
